Homemade Facial Mask

I don’t know about you guys, but my face hates stress. By that, I mean, I get zits. Generally my skin needs barely any pampering to stay clear, but when I am stressed almost nothing can fix it. Since I have been under a bit of stress at work lately and my skin has been reacting accordingly I got the bright idea to use a facial mask. I got the second bright idea to search on Pinterest for a homemade facial mask. Luckily, the first recipe I found on Pinterest contained all completely normal household ingredients and I had them all! The original recipe used 4 parts powdered milk and 4 parts water, and since I didn’t have powdered milk on hand, I just used milk. I even got Adam to apply some over his T zone! One part in this recipe calls for one dash of the ingredient. You apply the mask for 15-20 minutes, wet it again and massage it into your skin and then wash off. I could feel it tingling/doing something on my skin, so I was excited that maybe this would do some good on my face. After I washed it off my skin felt really smooth, clear and new. I can tell any dead cells had been removed. All in all definitely worth it! (If you get your honey to use some also, don't forget to remind them to wash it off....like I did)

Homemade facial scrub*

·         1 part baking soda
·         3 parts honey
·         2 parts lemon juice (I used the bottled kind)
·         4 parts milk
·         7 parts oatmeal
·         4 parts flour
